Ponds Psychology is excited to announce the opening of a brand new purpose built clinic in The Ponds, Sydney 2769. As a registered psychologist and former primary school teacher, Vanessa has 22 years of experience working with children as a primary school teacher, school counsellor and psychologist. She has experience in assessment and counselling with children and adolescents with a specialty in conducting comprehensive assessments that provide extensive information about the cognitive ability and learning profile of young people.  At Ponds Psychology, assessment for diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Cognitive Assessments (IQ) for intellectual disability or giftedness and Specific Learning Disorder such as Dyslexia.

Vanessa works closely with families and schools to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.  She is passionate about using her expertise in assessment, teaching and learning to truly understand a child's cognitive and learning profile and determine the best support to put into place both at home and in the school environment.

Vanessa Lord is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency PSY0002197498.

Vanessa has a Bachelor of Arts (in Psychology and Education), Masters of Teaching, Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Post Graduate qualifications in Counselling.
